surgery & forensic pathology as a medical surgeon, one of archer's main duties in rocket is performing autopsies to determine unclear causes of death and harvesting useful parts, something that he is very passionate about. these skills also translate into a wide variety of tactics and methods utilized in torturing those captured by rocket who hold onto necessary information.martial arts in hand-to-hand combat, he specializes in jujutsu, using paralyzing attacks and joint locks as his main tactics.gun handling & sniping while archer is skilled enough in martial arts to hold his ground, his true skills lie in gun control. he has a very sharp eyesight, making him lethal with a gun, and even more so with a sniper rifle, and holds a record of being able to shoot a man from 3200 meters away.

DUTIES IN ROCKET .

LEADERSHIP ROLE WHEN GIOVANNI IS ABSENT AND/OR BUSY handling the big decisions, handing out and deciding on promotions, approving and reviewing missions and the reports of them, assigning new duties, deciding on punishments for misbehavior, basically anything that needs the ‘final word’ from the boss.BUSINESS RELATIONS handling overseas business partnerships, relations with the involved political and governmental officials, high-end customers, possible relations with the other organizations and teams, and other higher maintenance partners. keeping up good relations with associates is crucial to keeping rocket operating as it does.AUTOPSIES performed especially on those who have died under unclear or unexplained circumstances, or those in a state that others in the same field don’t necessarily want to examine. afterwards, sending out odd findings to the labs and accompanying the scientific teams in examinations of them.WELLNESS CHECKS as one of the heads of the medical staff, he performs routine medical and physical checkups on members of rocket, making sure they are in good shape mentally and physically and fit for their designated duties and ranks. he also keeps track of those injured in duty and their healing process, both temporary and chronic. those promoted from officers upwards get an especially thorough checking.GUN CONTROL / MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING holding out classes, both for groups and private, with proper weapon handling and martial arts techniques.GUN TRADE in control of the massive trade of gun and weapon smuggling from the kanto & johto areas and overseas.ASSASSINATIONS he can work his way through a sniper rifle, whenever rocket needs someone out of the picture for good. also occasionally does outsider commissions on this, when someone is ready to pay top (poké)dollar.

SUPPLY TRADE watches over the group of scientists working outside the organization in charge of manufacturing them special battle and healing items like potions and poké balls with certain performance-boosting enhancements.POKÉMON TRAINING CLASSES especially for dark types due to being a specialist and the type being notoriously difficult to train.THE POKÉMON BREEDING INDUSTRY with a focus on the more on-demand and rare species, like dratinis and porygons.

early life .

Atomu Fujihara was born as an only child to Akari and Yūto Fujihara, a relatively ordinary working class couple living in Olivine City in the Johto region. Money was always tight in their family, despite of the long hours his parents worked while leaving their son in the care of the family Granbull and whichever friendly neighbor happened to be available.With numerous hours spent alone and never a proper bond formed with his parents, he turned to books. Spending many of his days in the Olivine library, his interests were geared towards the books about human psychology and anatomy. His parents were known to be distant with their son, their relationship with each other eventually deteriorating to the level of 'staying together for the kid', which outed itself in further absence and lack of physical affection.

teenage years .

Atomu grew up to know his parents exactly as they were; ordinary and directionless. With his father working long laboring hours in the Olivine fishing industry, being away from home for long periods of time only to bring back mediocre pay, and his mother stuck in a job as a retail cashier, Atomu gradually began loathing their way of living, swearing that he would never be content with struggling to exist. He knew he had to leave to find a direction for himself. And not only leave, but burn every single bridge connecting him to his old, smothering life. Shortly after his 15th birthday, Atomu crafted a plan to frame the deaths of himself and his family by burning down the house, with the help of the Houndour he'd been gifted a few years earlier. On a cold February night, he set the plan in motion and in the cover of darkness, Atomu left his home city, leaving his previous life behind with no regret in his mind.Despite of a third set of human remains not being found in the charred wreckage of the house, with his absence and with limited resources geared towards a family of such low economical status, Atomu was officially pronounced to have died alongside his parents a few months after the incident, officially detaching him from the grid of society.

reaching adulthood .

Atomu spent the next few years of his life getting to know the dark underbelly of Johto, hopping across different street gangs to learn the ropes of the life he had traded his previous one for. He grew even more fascinated with fire, committing several arsons within the Kanto-Johto area with the help of his team of two Houndours and a Houndoom.After yet another arrest and being told that it would be the last time he'd be let off the hook because of his young age, Atomu made an attempt to turn his life around. With his lifelong interest towards the field of medical science, he took advantage of his contacts in the criminal world of Johto to forge himself his first fake identity, the first official record proving that he was alive since leaving his home a wreck, and enrolled in medical school. With near straight A's across the board for the first two years of his studies, Atomu was dubbed as someone with great potential by his teachers.The facade would come crashing down in the form of another student recognizing him as a former member of a group of ragtag criminals he had long since left behind. With his identity being proven as fake and his previous arson charges now on the table, the school swiftly expelled him in an attempt to protect their public image. After that, he was back on the streets, doing what he'd always done best; getting into trouble. When attempting to burn down a house a touch fancier than his regular targets, he first came face to face with a man named Giovanni, the first person to see a spark of potential in him in years.

After his first promotion from a grunt to an officer, Atomu's skills in the medical field were recognized by the higher ups of Rocket, and more importantly, the president of the Aether Foundation, Lusamine. With the existing ties between the two organizations and under her guidance, he finished his medical degree at the Aether Paradise, going further to specialize in the field of forensic pathology.The final promotion to an executive came with the newly assigned name Archer, and he started working directly under the boss, forming a deep respect towards the man and a close bond with his fellow executives. Their leader embodied every trait he had admired his entire life, and most importantly, he was a man driven by a goal. A passion. Before long, Archer had sworn his lifelong loyalty to Team Rocket, ready to follow them into the dark and give his life for the cause without hesitation if asked to.As Team Rocket's second-in-command – and ruled as the main suspect to be the leader of the organization by interpol and those aware of the Goldenrod Radio Tower incident – Archer is ruthless, cold and calculating with a deceptively charming smile hiding an even darker, sadistic depth, having honed his act of a stoic man devoid of feelings into perfection.
